Welcome to Web
Library: Resources for Teachers, a forum for practitioners of Labanotation
and Motif Description to exchange educational materials and ideas. This
forum was created to fill the the need for accessible and innovative
teaching materials and engender discussions of teaching methodologies
and philosophies.
Everything posted is available for downloading, reproduction and educational
use.
Anyone with materials or ideas they would like to share is encouraged
to submit them for consideration for the Web Library. Through this collaborative
effort, we can build a library of notation materials that will be available
to the international dance community. Instructions are provided on how
to submit.
Contributions to the Web Library may include, but are not limited to:
classroom materials
lesson plans
repertory readings
syllabi
administrative proposals articles
and papers
information on professional development
Materials appropriate
for curriculums in dance, theater, and other disciplines as well as
inter-disciplinary studies are solicited.
The information listed on the Web Library is organized according to
student population:
Pre K to Fifth grade
Middle School
High School
Post Secondary
Submitted items may be
listed in more than one section if appropriate for a range of ages.
