>WEB LIBRARY: RESOURCES FOR TEACHERS

A project of The Alliance of Dance Notation Educators
Sponsored by the Dance Notation Bureau and Southern Methodist University

Welcome to Web Library: Resources for Teachers, a forum for practitioners of Labanotation and Motif Description to exchange educational materials and ideas. This forum was created to fill the the need for accessible and innovative teaching materials and engender discussions of teaching methodologies and philosophies.

Everything posted is available for downloading, reproduction and educational use.

Anyone with materials or ideas they would like to share is encouraged to submit them for consideration for the Web Library. Through this collaborative effort, we can build a library of notation materials that will be available to the international dance community. Instructions are provided on how to submit.

Contributions to the Web Library may include, but are not limited to:

classroom materials
lesson plans
repertory readings
syllabi
administrative proposals
articles and papers
information on professional development

Materials appropriate for curriculums in dance, theater, and other disciplines as well as inter-disciplinary studies are solicited.

The information listed on the Web Library is organized according to student population:

Pre K to Fifth grade
Middle School
High School
Post Secondary

Submitted items may be listed in more than one section if appropriate for a range of ages.
