Adopting one of DNBs scores will help underwrite housing and maintenance costs. For each score you adopt, a certificate will be sent to the person in whose name you adopted it to inform him or her of your thoughtful gift. A notice will be placed in every copy of the score stating: This score has been adopted, ensuring it can be housed and disseminated by the Dance Notation Bureau for continued performance, study and enjoyment by audiences around the world. This will be followed by a list of adopters and the adoption periods.
