TAKE 50% OFF LISTED PRICE (in effect as of May 7, 2008)

The Dance Notation Bureau is offering 50% off for duplicate materials from its collection. The vast majority of the materials are books, but there are also serials and music. Some of the books are valuable, and books priced over $30 are listed in a separate "Rare and Fine Books" section. Serials include magazines and journals, of course, but also some directories, indexes, souvenir programs, and yearbooks. Items in the music section are either music scores or books with a significant amount of musical notation. Books that are simply about music are listed with the books.

If you've looked at this list before, you'll want to look again. On May 1, 2002, we more than doubled the number of books available. Most of the new additions are hardcovers, and many of them are hard to find. Please note that books that have been on the list for a while do not have publication years listed, but books that are new to the list do. If you have any questions about the age, condition, or contents of a book, please contact dnbinfo@dancenotation.org.

How to Make a Purchase

If you would like to buy something listed below, please send your request and address via e-mail (dnbinfo@dancenotation.org), fax (212-216-9027) or mail (Dance Notation Bureau, 151 West 30th Street, Suite 202, New York, NY 10001). It is very important that you include your mailing address, as it is crucial for determining shipping costs! Books are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We will reserve the books, calculate the postage, and notify you of the total. Once we receive your payment (checks only, please, made out to Dance Notation Bureau and in U.S. dollars), we will send your purchases to you. Once a book is reserved, we will remove it as soon as possible from the list below. However, we might not have a chance to update the list with every order, so please be aware that some of the books might no longer be available.
